Generators & Water Pumps
A diesel generator is the combination of a diesel engine with an electric generator to generate electrical energy. A diesel compression - ignition engine often is designed to run on fuel oil. Diesel generating sets are used in places without connection to a power grid or as emergency power-supply if the grid fails.Sizing of diesel generators is crictal to avoid low-load or a shortage of power. Set sizes range from 8 to 30kw for homes, small shops, and offices with the larger industrial generators from 8kw up to 2,000kw. Generating sets are selected based on the electrical load they are intended to supply, the electrical loads such as kW, KVA. The expected duty (such as emergency, prime or continous power) as well as environment conditions (such as altitude, temperature and exhause emissions regualtions) must also be considered. Generators must provide the anticipated power required reliably and without damage and this is achieved by the manufacturer giving one or more ratings to a specific generator set model.
Water pumps are a device that moves fluids (liquid/gases or slurries) by mechanical action. PUmps can be classified into 3 major groups according to the method they use to move the fluid, direct lift, displacement or gravity pumps. Pumps are commonly rated by horsepower, flow rate, outlet pressure in metres(or feet) of head, inlet suction in suction feet of head.
We supply Honda Generators and water pumps, Honda produces five different pumps, volume, trash, submersible, chemical and diaphragm and all their petrol powered pumps utilize a Honda 4-stroke engine, while their submersible pumps use electricity to power them.
