Grillo Out-Front Mower with Collection - Commercial use
Hydrostatic mower with front mounted cutting deck. The grass-catcher capacity is 450lt. The grass catcher height is 150cm with an ejection of 57cm-differential locking: cutting and collection high performance are its best features.
FD450 cutting deck is unique of its kind. It is provided with 2 counter-rotating blades (which are not timed) plus a small front blade. It is a real-out front mower deck, the 50% of its surface is free from obstacles thus ensuring a perfect visibility of the working area. It is provided with additional front and side reinforcements. The cutting width is 113cm while cutting height varies from a minimum of 2.5cm to 9cm.
The cutting height adjustment is operated via an electrical push button, located on the steering column. The cutting deck can be hydraulically lifted during transfer allowing you to traverse obstacles. All the blades direct the grass into a large and straight load chute at the same time thus significantly increasing the load capacity. In this way the grass is well compressed improving the efficiency of the grass catcher.
Under difficult conditions, when the grass is high and wet and during the autumn when the grass is covered with leaves the FD450 succeeds in collecting them without blocking.
This machine is extrememly maneuverable and easy to drive. Control via a steering wheel and the rear steering axle allows an inner turning radius of just 30cm. Speed ranges from 0 to 11km/h and is continuously adjustable. When necessary, the differential lock, operated via a pedal with automatic disengagement, allows greater traction and safety. The blades are automatically disengaged once the grass catcher is full.
Operation of the cutting deck is made via an electromagnetic clutch. The control is by a push-button. The FD450 is fitted with a petrol Briggs & Stratton 7220 Professional Series V-Twin, 18Hp Net Power, Twin Cylinder Engine with electric start and a 17L fuel tank with level indicator. The engine has a 656CC displacement and incorporates the latest technical innovations ensuring reliability, low emissions, reduced consumption, high performance and vibrations reduced to the minimum.
