Financial Administrator & Accounts Manager – Holsworthy

Andrew Symons Ltd are looking for a financial administrator and accounts manager to be based at their Holsworthy branch. The successful candidate will need to be a strong multi-tasker with excellent communication and time management skills, and be competent working in a finance admin role in a busy office environment. This a varied finance admin role, responsible to the Directors and includes duties such as everyday admin, banking and keeping the accounts all up to date.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone to join a long-established family run business of over 30 years, who value a great team spirit and a enjoy a common goal of first-class customer service. In return as a company we offer an excellent remuneration with a secure future and ongoing support. Working hours are full time, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Finance Admin
• Daily banking – match payments and receipts
• Bank & Cash Book Daily Reconciliations
• Produce Accurate Expenses
• Record & Match all payments & receipts with the company merchants’ reports
• Credit Control
• Run & Reconcile VAT report
• Pay NI and PAYE as directed
• Record & invoice Wholegoods. Knowledge of Ibcos Gold system would be useful but training will be given.

Data input onto Gold/Excel
• Record All Commission Data & report where necessary
• Company Supplier invoices
• Journals as instructed by company accountant
• Record all bank payments & receipts – chase missing invoices where necessary deal with all queries relating to the bank and invoices
• Set up new Suppliers on Gold
• Set up new Nominal Codes where necessary

Bank Duties
• Liaise with Directors with bank updates
• Pay suppliers in accordance with statement & terms
